CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE

The potential of hydrokinetic energy - which includes ocean energy (tidal, wave, ocean thermal) and fast streams - has unlimited potential for electricity generation. In the ocean energy sector, Bluenergy focuses on tidal energy, due to its complete predictability and scalability. 

BLUE TIDAL TURBINES

Bluenergy turbines are designed to enable multiple deployment and installation options. These turbines, ranging from 7kW to 100kW can harness energy from the ocean, fast flow streams and uniquely, from low tidal flows found in coastal waters or around remote island locations. 

ENERGY STORAGE

As with wind and solar renewable energy, ocean energy requires energy storage. Bluenergy will use Li-ion batteries, Flow batteries and Hydrogen storage depending on location and customer requirement.

DISTRIBUTION

Energy distribution is traditionally supplied via conventional power cables, which are laid from generation source, to end users. However, Bluenergy is developing a unique, disruptive concept to distribute energy. This will  include the potential to import energy between countries.

MONITORING

An in-house monitoring system ensures that the marine environment is unharmed. Regular monitoring, reporting and verifying is carried out all year round by our team and relevant stakeholders. We work closely with government authorities to ensure compliance with local regulations.

SMART DIGITAL PLATFORM

Bluenergy is developing an in-house IoT platform to cater for the demand and supply of clean energy.  All stakeholders and end users will have access to this platform.
